PURPOSE Our club is made up of local business leaders
and residents who enjoy good fellowship and building enduring friendships
while helping meet the needs of groups and individuals in our community and
beyond. Projects and programs are
primarily focused on children. HISTORY The Allen Kiwanis Club was chartered with thirty-one members on

officer of Allen National Bank, was the first club president. Robert
"Bob" Cowles, Governor of Texas Oklahoma District, presented the
charter. The first meetings were conducted in the fellowship hall of the
First Christian Church. Our motto is "Serving the Children of the World." The Allen Kiwanis Club meets each Thursday
