CLUB SERVICE PROJECTS Service Projects – 2004 October 12: Dinner provided for Journey of Hope November 6: Quarterly trash pick-up on McDermott December 3: Serve popcorn & hot chocolate at City Christmas Tree Lighting December 3: Provided 200 books as presents and helped at Early Childhood Intervention Christmas party December 15: Provided books and helped at Head Start Christmas party Service Projects – 2005 January: Collected new shoes for Buchner Shoes for Orphaned Souls program February 13: Presented puppets and puppet tree to the new Allen Public Library February: 26 pairs of shoes were delivered to Buckner Orphan Care International February: 20 handmade blankets were delivered to the Kiwanis Linus Project February: Four sessions with Head Start classes – Mardi Gras & Valentine parties and two reading sessions March 19: Quarterly trash pick-up on McDermott March: 75 small toys were sent to Iraq for children of Iraqi police officer trainees April: Items were collected for the C.I.T.Y. House garage sale April: An additional set of puppets was donated to the Allen Public Library May 24: Provided and served dinner for Journey of Hope May: Awarded scholarships to graduating Key Club seniors May: Contributed to the After-prom party May: Delivered 60 books to C.I.T.Y.
