THE ALLEN ANGEL LEAGUE
The Allen Angel League provides a positive
recreational opportunity for special needs children needing a supervised sports
activity. Several organizations are
involved in making this a successful experience including: Allen Sports Association (ASA), Allen Kiwanis
Club and Acteens, student volunteers from the First Baptist Church of Allen.
FALL 2008 SCHEDULE
Seven Mondays starting September 15 (Sept 15, 22,
29 and Oct 6, 13, 20, 27) at Allen Station Park softball fields. There will be two games: one 6:00 to 7:00 , the other 7:00 to 8:00.
NEW THIS FALL
1. Four
new playing fields instead of two
2. T
shirts, pants, hats and socks provided by Allen Kiwanis
3. All
fees will be paid by Allen Kiwanis.
4. All
baseball equipment contributed by ASA (players provide their own helmets &
gloves)
5. A
middle/ high school opportunity scheduled at the same time
SPONSORSHIP AND DONATIONS
We seek corporate or individual sponsorship to assist with the cost of the
uniforms, medals, and trophies.
